By using PurePlateAI, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our service.

Description of Service

PurePlateAI is an AI-powered nutrition assistant that provides personalized meal recommendations and nutritional guidance based on user profiles and preferences. Our service aims to help users make informed dietary choices and improve their overall health.

User Registration and Account

• You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account.
• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account information.
• You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.

User Data

We collect and use profile information as described in our Privacy Policy. You have the right to access, update, or delete your data as outlined in the Privacy Policy.

Subscriptions and Billing

Subscription Plans

PurePlate offers the following auto-renewable subscription options:

Prices are in USD and may vary by region. Local currency pricing is determined by Apple.

Auto-Renewal Terms

All subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period. Your Apple ID account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period at the rate of your selected plan.

Payment Processing

All payments are processed through Apple's App Store. By subscribing to PurePlate, you agree to Apple's terms of service and payment processing policies. PurePlate does not directly collect or store your payment information.

Price Changes

We reserve the right to change subscription pricing at any time. If we change the price of a subscription, we will notify you in advance and give you the opportunity to cancel before the new price takes effect. Price changes will not affect your current billing period.

How to Cancel Your Subscription

You can cancel your subscription at any time. Cancellation will take effect at the end of your current billing period, and you will retain access to premium features until that date.

To cancel on iPhone or iPad:

1. Open the Settings app
2. Tap your name at the top
3. Tap Subscriptions
4. Select PurePlate
5. Tap Cancel Subscription

To cancel on Mac:

1. Open the App Store
2. Click your name in the bottom left
3. Click View Information
4. Scroll to Subscriptions and click Manage
5. Click Edit next to PurePlate
6. Click Cancel Subscription

To cancel on the web:

1. Go to reportaproblem.apple.com
2. Sign in with your Apple ID
3. Find PurePlate in your subscriptions
4. Click Cancel Subscription

Free Trials

If PurePlate offers a free trial period:

• You will not be charged during the free trial period
• Payment will begin automatically at the end of the trial period unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the trial ends
• Any unused portion of a free trial period will be forfeited if you purchase a subscription before the trial ends
• Free trials are limited to one per Apple ID

Refunds

All subscription purchases are made through Apple's App Store. Refund requests are handled exclusively by Apple according to their refund policy.

To request a refund:

1. Visit reportaproblem.apple.com
2. Sign in with your Apple ID
3. Select the PurePlate subscription charge
4. Follow Apple's instructions to submit your refund request

PurePlate cannot directly process refunds for App Store purchases. Apple's decision on refund requests is final.

Account Deletion

Your Right to Delete

You have the right to delete your PurePlate account at any time. We provide a simple, self-service deletion option directly within the app.

How to Delete Your Account

In the PurePlate app:

1. Open PurePlate
2. Navigate to your Profile (tap the profile icon)
3. Scroll down and tap Delete Account
4. Review the information about what will be deleted
5. Confirm deletion

Alternative method:

You may also request account deletion by emailing pureplateai@gmail.com with the subject line "Account Deletion Request" and including the email address associated with your account.

What Gets Deleted

When you delete your account, the following data will be permanently and irreversibly removed from our servers:

• Profile Information: Your name, age, sex, height, weight, and other personal details
• Health Data: Food allergies, pre-existing conditions, dietary preferences
• Meal History: All logged meals, including photos and nutritional analysis
• Progress Data: Check-in records, weight history, and progress tracking data
• AI-Generated Content: Your personalized nutrition guidelines and insights
• Analytics Data: Usage patterns and behavioral data associated with your account

Important Warnings

Data Retention After Deletion

After account deletion:

• All personally identifiable information is permanently deleted
• Anonymized, aggregated analytics data (which cannot be linked back to you) may be retained for service improvement purposes
• We may retain certain information if required by law or for legitimate business purposes (e.g., fraud prevention, resolving disputes)

Acceptable Use

You agree to use PurePlateAI for its intended purpose of receiving nutritional guidance. Prohibited activities include:

• Attempting to bypass security measures
• Spreading malware or engaging in any malicious activities
• Using the service for any illegal purposes
• Harassing, abusing, or threatening other users

Intellectual Property

PurePlateAI and its content are owned by us and protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from our content without our express permission.

Disclaimer of Warranties

PurePlateAI is provided "as is" without any warranties, express or implied. We do not guarantee the accuracy of meal recommendations, and you should consult with a healthcare professional for medical advice.

Limitation of Liability

Our liability is limited to the maximum extent permitted by law. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from your use of PurePlateAI.

Modifications to Service

We reserve the right to modify or discontinue PurePlateAI at any time, with or without notice.

Governing Law

These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which PurePlateAI is headquartered, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

Apple End User License Agreement (EULA)

Licensed Application

PurePlate is a "Licensed Application" as defined in Apple's Standard End User License Agreement (EULA).

Applicable Agreement

Your use of PurePlate downloaded from the Apple App Store is subject to Apple's Standard End User License Agreement, which can be found at:

Conflict Resolution

In the event of any conflict between these Terms of Service and Apple's Standard EULA:

• Apple's EULA shall take precedence with respect to your use of the app downloaded from the App Store
• These Terms of Service shall govern your use of any web-based services or features not covered by Apple's EULA

Third-Party Beneficiary

You acknowledge and agree that Apple, and Apple's subsidiaries, are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms of Service. Upon your acceptance of these terms, Apple will have the right (and will be deemed to have accepted the right) to enforce these Terms of Service against you as a third-party beneficiary thereof.
